- Co-morbid conditions (provide a place in the model for this, although it will be difficult for the registries to capture this information)
- Genetic and tumor characteristic (e.g. estrogen receptor positive) information
- Accommodation for special studies --- Although this solution will not provide functionality to meet all needs, it:
- Will select patient sets/records to be included in a special study
- Will accept updated research information from a special study and consolidate this into the database
- Will track patients who have been contacted for a special study
- Will NOT support the process of contacting the patient, doing research, etc….the "legwork" of conducting the special study
Excluding:
- Administrative activities (payroll, purchasing, …)
- Registry professional affiliations (for example research groups, etc.)
